PCL Website
Our club is a USS spring league competitive swim
team offering high quality coaching and technique instruction for
all ages and abilities. The goal of our team is to provide every
member an opportunity to improve on their swimming skills and
achieve success at his or her level of ability, from novice
to advance competitor. The team is a part of the private
club league that was founded by Dick Smith. The goal of the
league is to get swimmers to enjoy the sport of
swimming. Currently our coach is the Co-President
of this swim league.
All of our coaches, are members of
the Florida Swimming Association, have access to the most
comprehensive training and certification program for youth coaches
of any sport in the United States. They provide assurances that the
time children spend in swimming will be quality time. The
coaches in this program give great tips and feedback to better all
swimmers no matter what ability level the swimmer is. We are
also very fortunate to have great parent volunteers. We
currently have six USS certified officials on our swim
team.
The Palma Ceia Swim Team,
a part of the Palma Ceia Country Club, is run
by the head coach and the elected Swim Advisory
Board members which meets each month. We are constantly growing and
training young swimmers to maintain a well rounded competitive swim
team. Thank you for joining us. We are looking forward to working
