Cold and Wet Night for Tri-Meet

Who would have thought that we would have a Cold Rainy Night in late May.  The Palma Ceia Swim Team had around 100 swimmers participate in the tri-meet against Lakeland and Emerald Green.  During this cold swim meet the PCCC swimmers wouldn’t give up! They were there to show how hard they have been working in practice. We had several swimmers improve their times..impressive especially on this cold May Night! This was our first official meet of the season with several officials on hand to make sure the swimmers were swimming correctly.  Some of our swimmers made minor mistakes but the coaches will be back working on these skills at practice this week.  All swimmers will make mistakes and we will learn from them.  This is the time to start correcting them before the big Championship Meet.

Our next home dual meet will be Tuesday, June 2nd against Bellaire and St. Petersburg Country Club.

Parents I want to thank you for your hard work last night.  Please remember to sign up on-line for the next dual meet on-line.

Last day to tell Coach Todd you will not be swimming in the PCL Championship Meet will be May 29th.
